description

Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: the private collection of I.P. Sveshnikova, Moscow (Russia).

The painting simple in its plot and composition is designed according to all the laws of Cubism and Futurism. The worker in ammunition at the height of a pillar looks like a fantastic creature consisting of sharp triangles. The tops of the roofs, the slope of the smooth tapering column and the chaotic lines of wires indicate the height and danger. The author used cold shades of blue to depict the high sky and the sun (it is also blue), standing directly above the pillar, which makes it seem even higher as if reaching the sky.
