description

Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: private collection.

This is one of the most lyrical portraits created in the synthesis of such styles as cubofuturism and spectralism. Ten-year-old Yaroslava is depicted in such a way that the viewer understands that she just has turned her head, and some of her hair covers half the face of the girl. At the same time, two head contours and several hairstyle contours are clearly seen. The artist organically combines pure spectral colours – cool blue and cyan with warm orange and yellow. Light ripples of the background and flickering green convey the disturbed air.
