This painting was created for a large project of Ernst Fuchs, which was implemented at the Klagenfurt Parish Church (The Parish of Saint Egyd) and became a separate work. The author originally tells a story for Bible, placing the sinner sitting on a multi-headed dragon or camel in theatrical scenery. Snakes are looking at her from heavy half closed curtains; behind is night with a myriad of stars and a low moon. It is not by chance that the gorgeous clothes of the heroine of the picture merge in color with the dragon’s body, and each of the six heads belongs to a separate animal. The seventh head is a human skull.
