The picture draws a parallel between the sea and the image of a dancer – it was created under the impression of the artist’s trip to the sea. The abstract cylindrical and flat forms cause associations of the elements of water and lively dance, although it is only intuitively possible to distinguish the shape of a person in a heap of colourful details. The author uses the technique of individual strokes, working with open blue, yellow and red colours. He created several similar abstract works based on free associations, combining seemingly unrelated concepts, like in the picture “Dancer + Sea + Sail = Bouquet”, “Bear Dance = Boat with a Sail”. They are a vivid example of works in the style of “plastic analogy”.
