Briefly about the painting:

Works of the early 1930s, thanks to which the artist gained recognition, often reflect the contemporary author’s social themes. The attack of the machines, which is no longer possible to stop, is depicted by the pollution of the atmosphere by P. Blume as a fantastic cityscape and black, thick clouds of smoke that covered half the sky. In this case, the iron robot, like a puppet, is still in the hands of man. Contrasting is the ruddy face of a worker and resembling the rat head of a steel monster. Technically, every detail of the composition is processed extremely clearly.
