Mediums: steel.
Location: Tate Modern Gallery (London, the UK).

One of several sculptures created by Caro during a workshop on Lake Emma in Canada; it is dedicated to this lake. Since the transportation of massive metal sheets to this area was difficult, the sculptor used more suitable metal pipes, due to which the composition acquired a light, airy look. The author worked on creating the sculpture quickly and naturally, combining elements intuitively and trying to catch the energy of the area in which he was. The linear construction of the work captures the surrounding space and makes the sculpture look like a pencil drawing in the air, surprisingly turning metal into the dark waters of a deep lake.
