description

Mediums: tusche, gouache, paper.
Location: The Museum of Theater, Music and Cinema of Ukraine (Kyiv).

Created as a sketch for the ballet production of choreographer K. Goleizovsky, the work was considered by experts as an independent constructivist picture. When painting the figures, the artist used drawing tools, which was a taboo for all other techniques of the fine art, except for constructivism. The conditionally constructed figures without faces have expressive dynamics, consistent with the concept of the avant-garde dance of the choreographer. As an outstanding colourist, the artist used three harmoniously combined colours.
