Abstrakte Figur

author

Brignoni Serge

description

Mediums: bronze, patina.
Location: private collection.

One of the few works of Brignoni, where the surface is smoothly processed. The abstract and surreal composition is associated with a female figure sitting on a high chair, her hands folded on her stomach. What is above the conditional head of the central character can also be interpreted as a living creature. Smooth lines and careful elaboration of details make the half-meter figurine especially elegant. Perhaps, the interior sculpture was not conceived for a circular view. The style of the master in the late period is something average between naturalization and abstract art, no longer striving for geometric forms.
