description

In 1997, the underground museum park “Vulcania” was opened in Clemonde-Ferrand. In the dead volcanic landscape, there is a 37 meter black, truncated cone, which is the only visible sign of human habitation. The structure “leads” the visitor into a breathtaking underground world, which resembles structures from the fantasy genre. A metaphorical volcano clad in steel, dark stone and gold, which is a vivid symbol of geothermal power.
