Hotel “Imperial”

The structure is complex in plan. The design of the façade combined Wright’s stylistic findings in the “prairie houses” and the style of traditional Japanese architecture. Common areas were the core of the building, while rooms were concentrated in the side wings. Courtyards with landscaping, sculpture, swimming pools surrounded the building.
