One of the most striking features of L. Fini is that no other painter woman managed to become famous not being equated with a more famous man, and Leonor became such an example. And it’s not just due to the nature of her character, but also due to the character of her art. In the painting of the last decade of her creative career, the artist is not afraid to use features of Mannerism combined with background minimalism, as he is not afraid of the “salonness” of the rather banal plot. The special painting style and the ability to praise femininity in a trivial composition underlies the uniqueness of Fini’s images.
