As an artistic opponent of K. Malevich, V. Tatlin presented 6 of his abstract reliefs at the exhibition “Tram № B”; they all are considered lost. Later Tatlin called them “counter-reliefs” and did not hide the fact that he was inspired by P. Picasso. Aestheticizing real materials and making them a part of a work of art, Tatlin made it closer to the real life. The reliefs mostly did not carry any semantic loads, but this composition, although it is almost abstract, contains a hint of actually existing urban transport.
