The Cubist canvas is distinguished by its colour intensity and constructive pressure. A seated man reminiscent of a robot is full of compressed energy – either he is ready for action at any moment, or is in a restless expectation. The artist used shades of only two colours achieving a harmonious sound of exquisite gray-red colours. The figure is inscribed in the background with the help of interpenetrating and overlapping geometric elements. The legs of a free chair in the right corner of the picture resemble human legs. The author does not follow his teachers anymore but has his peculiar style.
