The green stripe

The “Green Stripe” was the first Abstract painting to literally go beyond the frame. The green line in the picture is actually a fragment of a stripe that has no beginning or end. This work was likely part of a “triptych” that also included the “Yellow Stripe” and “Purple Stripe”.
