Lithography and screen printing.

The theme of space travel, which was extremely popular in the 1960s, often appears in the works of Robert Rauschenberg. In July 1969, NASA leadership invited the artist to their base, so that he would photograph the launch of the Apollo 11 ship. During his stay at Cape Canaveral, he had access to objects and materials, which he carefully studied and later depicted in his work. The central part of the composition is occupied by a red launch vehicle, which contrasts with the blue-green natural environment. This lithography is the largest series of works devoted to space research, and it was the largest standard lithography at the time of its creation.
