description

Mediums: gouache, pencil, cardboard.
Location: Galerie Bernhard Bischoff, Bern (Switzerland).

The surreal work in the genre of interior plot is made in extremely hot colors. Such colors are usually inherent in the design of casinos and other gambling establishments. The painting has no straight lines (except for a slightly noticeable chess field on the round table); this makes the unusual furniture even more decorative. Nevertheless, the composition contains a certain readable conflict: one of the chairs is light, with an openwork back and a soft pillow, and the second one, opposite, is massive and gray. This structure is more like a metal part from a steam engine. A lamp looks very stylish, hanging strictly above the table and completely repeating its shape.
