Briefly about the painting:
It is believed that the plot was inspired by the famous image of the cabaret of Javier Solana and represents its antipode. The four female figures on the canvas of Angeles Santos are in a winding motion that permeates the entire composition. Each of them emits the visual feeling of secret and separateness. Spontaneously and almost closely learning the methods of the most innovative European art movements, the young artist reflected the principles of the new objectivity in this composition. The coldness and magnetism of the image are comparable with some works of artists who were theorists and initiators of this German avant-garde movement.
