Alfons Maria Mucha

description

Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: Castle of Moravsky Krumlov, Czech Republic.

This is a picture from the cycle named “Slavic epic”. The artist worked for about 15 years on the whole cycle. Unlike other works of Mucha, these pictures were created in an academic manner. The author presents various scenes on historical and religious themes. This work is called “utopia”, because Slavs did not have one common homeland.
