Kondratiev painted one of his few landscapes in the city of Senezh, near Moscow, where the creative base of artists was located. The landscape is made in a simplified and schematic manner with saturated but harmonious shades, which characterize the author as a talented colourist. The artist’s work is interesting in terms of perspective and space. The deep and subtle vision of the painter allows you to create a unique feeling of the duality of the surrounding reality, as if the image of nature was depicted simultaneously from several angles, layering on top of each other and creating a special “third dimension”.
