Musical instruments often became the heroes of the plots of Otto Tschuni. In this first post-war composition, the image of the concert grand piano is distorted so much that it seems to be a living creature that stubbornly moves its splayed legs uphill in the desert. The presence of the highly stylized sail, the yoke of which pierced the open cover of the instrument, contributes to this perception of the surrealistic narrative. The man in the chair in front of the piano is tilted towards the alleged movement. It seems that he does not play music, but tries to hold the instrument on the place.
