To create landscapes, the artist mostly used paintings from nature. In the last period of his work, Signac mostly created paintings in light colors. This work is characterized by light pink and blue shades. The brushstrokes placed in the decorative mosaic form the image when you look at the painting from the required distance. It seems that we can see ordinary mirage on this canvas.
