Briefly about the painting:
The work relates to the period, which the artist called “baroque”, and art critics define it as “fantastic”. The surrealistic work reflects the position that the artist himself repeatedly expressed, “What matters is what has appeared in the soul, and not what the eyes see or what can be given some name.” It is impossible to say for sure how many figures are woven together and what they carry when stepping over the “balls”, but they distinctly, almost sculpturally, stand out against the clouds of a very high sky. Despite the presence of a certain movement, the characters are like a fossil frozen in the flat terrain. Andre Barrett asked for permission to reproduce this work entitled “Skeleton Dance” when writing his wonderful book and album “Artists of Fantasy”.
