In the famous study book “Surrealism in 1947,” Andre Breton included works by famous artists who worked in this style. Brignoni was thus elected and was among such famous people as Hans Arp, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Roberto Matta, Joan Miro, Man Ray, Kay Sage, Yves Tanguy, Victor Browner, Alexander Calder, etc. The lithograph by Brignoni, which has the genre features of a portrait and a fantastic floral and architectural landscape, is distinguished by its filigree drawing, the harmony of the ornaments and motifs. The master skillfully and originally included several profiles in the composition. Moreover, those two that are located in the lower part are organically combined with the pyramids. It is no accident that the author used the canons of ancient Egyptian art in the image of all three faces.
