One of the first works of Luigi Russolo in the style of futurism. The artist used the pointillist technique that he knew well working with separate strokes of bright yellow, blue and pink shades. As conceived by the author, the viewer should feel the aroma of perfume, covering the girl in the picture with its sensual waves. He achieved this effect thanks to vortex lines consisting of shades smoothly flowing into one another.
