One of the five works shown by M. Menkov at the exhibition “Zero Ten” in Petrograd. The specific eclectism and the tendency towards the synthesis of the techniques of cubism and futurism with a clear departure from the borders of their canons are features of original Suprematism. The artist expresses his four dimensions not only with a variety of color associations, but also with a variety of shapes and lines. According to D. Sarabyanov, the new non-objective art movement was a kind of interchange experimental platform, from which Abstractionism started.
