Briefly about the painting:
Ivan Marchuk was not just an original artist with a unique artistic style – his works seem to be created to penetrate the unconscious. The motif with a fragile moth and the mother earth is one of the most frequent in his art. At the same time, every time his painting is unique, despite the reiterative philosophical idea, as the most complicated jewelry technique of painting “leads” the artist’s brush to the special textures of the fabric and color nuances. At the same time, the artist always refuses a bright palette when creating a philosophical canvas, explaining that the color should not “drag” attention to itself.
