Yoko Ono

description

Steel, nylon ropes, pebbles.

The installation of Yoko Ono “Morning Rays” not only carries a deep philosophical meaning but also looks bewitching. No wonder many visitors to the artist’s retrospective exhibitions, which regularly take place in major European cities, take pictures of themselves near this art object. Ono made the rays in the form of ropes tightly stretched at an angle of 45 degrees; they are mounted high on the ceiling with a metal ring. When falling, the improvised beams or ropes illuminate the symbolic “river of life” made of pebbles. This life-affirming work creates a special atmosphere and gives you a positive mood.
