In Moscow, the artist met and made friends with young performers Karina and Ruzanna (the names in the picture are indicated with one first letter). Talented Armenian singers performed in the ancient music ensemble Madrigal, and later as a separate vocal duet. The technique that the seventy-year-old artist used for the pair portrait speaks of the desire to find original approaches to the plot, which she carried through all the hardships. Two ladies became one playing card, however, of different stripes. The artist, as always, is extremely accurate.
