Modigliani created this painting when he was interested in works of Paul Cezanne and Pablo Picasso. It is not surprising that the influence of the painting of the outstanding artists was reflected in this canvas. The artist was born into a Jewish family; his ancestor on his mother’s side was famous Jewish rationalist philosopher Baruch Spinoza. The author was always proud of his origin and expressed the soul of his people in the work “Jewish woman”. On the canvas, there is a woman with a stern and proud look, noble features.
