This almost abstract picture reveals the interaction of nature and the creations of human hands. Perhaps the artist wanted to depict the moment of dawn when the first rays of the sun illuminate the earth, and the sky is a high dome pierced with light. The second, brighter source of light is a street lamp, which the light of the sun has not outshined. Intersecting, artificial and natural rays create some contradiction in the landscape, which otherwise is quite harmonious. The image evokes a feeling of complete immersion in the picture, the repeating elements and spiral lines of which seem to draw the viewer deeper into the canvas.
