description

Mediums: сoncave mirror in polished stainless steel.
Location: Nottingham Playhouse, the UK.

The sculpture was commissioned by the city theater of Nottingham. It has the shape of a concave disk with a smooth metal surface directed upwards; the sky is reflected in it like in a mirror. Watching the ever-changing panorama of the sky, turned upside down, the viewer involuntarily begins to think about the variability of the world and his place in this vast space. An enlarged copy of the Nottingham mirror is in New York, where it is located in the square in front of the Rockefeller Center.
