The painting can be called a transitional moment between the figurative painting of Balla and his subsequent abstract compositions. The girl on the balcony is depicted with the help of translucent flickering dots, which are many times repeated and layered and reflect the sense of movement. The shape of the figure is blurred, and its movement fills almost the entire space of the picture. In this work, the echoes of pointillism, which the artist was fond of before the transition to a new futuristic style, are noticeable.
