About the painting:

The author’s paintings of the 1960s are fundamentally different from what the artist created earlier. He created black and white works, mostly of large format, with the help of a special paint, which he applied in a thick layer, highlighting the important places by mechanical means. The motive for the painting was the memories of Onslow Ford about Egypt, which he visited several times during his service in the navy in his youth, and which impressed him with its unique culture and art. In the seemingly chaotic layering of circles and lines, one can feel the deep philosophical view of the artist, who managed to open his inner world not only for himself, but for everyone who wants to see and understand him.
