description

Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: the Tate Gallery (London, England).

About the painting:

The center of the composition is two abstract figures, intersecting and penetrating into each other. These objects obviously symbolizing the masculine and feminine seem to hover in the heavens, supported by energy flows depicted as white luminous lines. At the same time, the “female” lines have soft, oval shapes, whereas the “male” lines are distinguished by sharp corners and numerous intersections. Their interactions symbolize the harmony of human relationships and the influence that they continually have on each other.
