Keith Haring

description

Aluminum, polyurethane paint.

The original work is in a private collection; its copy is on Potsdamer Platz, Berlin (Germany).

The theme of the interpenetration and interaction of everything that exists in the world is present in many works of Keith Haring, both sculptural and pictorial. This minimalist work was performed with incredible skill and a great deal of humor. The red and blue boxer hit each other in the head and stomach at the same time, but none of them seems to be seriously injured by these powerful punches, as their hands easily pass through the opponent’s body. An enlarged copy of this sculpture was installed in Berlin on Potsdamer Platz.
