Briefly about the painting:
The abstract composition was created at the time when Ivan Kliun announced his departure from the principles of Suprematism. He kept color as his basic principle. No less important for the artist is the light, “blurring”, in his opinion, the contours of any object of the image. Both components are mentioned in the title, and the author saw their embodiment in the contrast of color solutions and a white background denoting light. Art critics agree that the vagueness of the outlines of geometric figures allows the artist to achieve the effect of a certain vibration of all elements of the composition and thus escape from the static nature of non-objective painting, which was the dominant of Suprematism.
