Location: оwned by the artist.

Briefly about the painting:

After reading the title, the viewer might be looking for birds, but they are not on the canvas. The inhabitants of the house over the cliff “flew away”. A lonely house with a broken roof, a lush garden, a window overgrown with weeds… For the artist, this is not just a specific image painted with the jeweler’s precision of each brushstroke, but also a symbol of the endangered villages of his homeland. The artist, who does not adhere to any style during his long and successful career, once again confirmed, “none canceled realism”. In the work, important is not only the painting itself and the technique of the master, but also the idea expressed by it and probably given to the viewer.
