An armored train in action

description

Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: the Richard S. Seisler Collection (New York, the USA).

The vast steel armoured train, which occupies most of the picture, impresses the viewer by its perfect shape and exceptional power. It demonstrates its full stand-to and military aggression. Steam cubes coming from the train overshadow the nature around, testifying to the dominance of a human being and machines he invented. In this work, the energy of movement and the irreversibility of rapid changes are fully demonstrated. The rapidly going train is rushing towards its destination, leaving the past in puffs of caustic smoke.
