A figure in space

author

Enrico Prampolini

description

Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: The Museum of Modern Art (Trento, Italy).

In this work, the new concept of Prampolini’s painting was finally established. He stated that his goal was to express the extreme ends of the introspective world, connecting unrelated objects that do not have a specific form and purpose. In his work, he relied only on his fantasy and imagination, impacting the psyche of the viewer through symbolic colours and vaguely familiar outlines. Moreover, his art has a certain dynamism that was characteristic of his style before. Objects in space are in constant smooth motion, changing and dissolving into each other.
