Mediums: bronze casting.
Location: located on the roof of a planetarium in Volgograd (Russia).

Vera Ignatievna’s colleagues helped her create this work: the casting of the 6-meter bronze statue was watched by S. Kruglov and A. Sergeyev, the dove was completed by Ivan Efimov – the artist herself was already in the hospital. The sculpture “World” embodied a lot of earlier thoughts and creations of its author – the female figure is majestic and light. Her calm and a little raised face is full of determination, her posture is proud, and her strong hands easily hold a heavy bundle of spikelets, pressed to her thigh, and crystal sphere, from where the dove is about to fly. She does not need protection, but she guards peace. The main thing is the world; this is the master’s conviction verified by life.
