description

Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: The Museum of Art (Gallarate, Italy).

This is an abstract canvas in which polygons of different sizes and colours are combined into a composition using dynamically curving black contour lines. The picture has neither a name nor a specific object of the image; it simply affects the subconscious with its vivid colours and unstable forms, causing certain associations and emotional response. At the time of working on this painting, Prampolini closely collaborated with several abstract groups and was in search of new opportunities and ways of expression in painting. The work allows you to trace the evolution of the artistic method of Prampolini from figurative expression to pointless art.
