1912
Mediums: oil, canvas.
Location: National Museum of Art, Kiev (Ukraine).
The Kyiv artist created this work during joint studios, at which she worked with such French masters as Picasso, Leger and Braque. In 1952, it was doomed to destruction but was preserved. After identification, the painting was exhibited in the 1990s at international exhibitions, including the vernissage “The Amazons of the Russian Avant-Garde” in Germany and the USA, at the exhibition “Ukrainian Modernism, 1910-1930” (New York, Chicago, 2006-2007). The canvas is made in Cubist style with a certain degree of conventionality but reflects the real look. Coloured pencil drawing has also been preserved – it is in the private collection of Z. Kucherenko, Kyiv.
