On Mornington-Crescent Street, the artist created at least a dozen works, depicting this place from various angles and under different lighting. In this work, the viewer seems to be at the foot of a high brick pipe, at which he looks from bottom to top. The atmosphere of the early frosty morning is conveyed by lighting and the absence of people on the street. The sharply outlined houses with dark windows, fences and a chimney do not seem to be uniform in the composition space. Such an image creates a feeling of instability as if not only the picture but the real urban look itself is ready to fall apart into separate parts at any moment.
