At the end of his career, Joseph Cornell stopped creating box installations, as they took a long time and worked more in collage technique. In this work, his fascination with Asian art is noticeable; it is focused on small details and fleeting moments. In the work, the artist expressed his love for birds, which he experienced throughout his life and repeatedly embodied in his installations. At the bottom of the composition, Cornell posted several photographs of trees and garden buildings.
