The multi-figure composition in the style of post-impressionism is fascinating in terms of its colouristic solution. Using two primary contrasting colours and their few shades, the author depicts standing and sitting people in the most diverse, sometimes very expressive poses with a sculpturally bold brush. Observing authenticity in proportions and perspective, the artist seems to change colours in places – he used a technique with the pretext “under” in the title, although the whole audience in blue and white-blue clothes (with the exception of one lady in a pink blouse) is “above” and next to pink shadow.
