The false mirror

The work can be called a rebus picture, a riddle picture. The entire surface of the canvas is occupied by a huge human eye, in which either clouds or the sky is reflected. From the name, it follows that the theme of the work is the subjectivity of human perception and its imperfection. The author says that you should not trust what our senses reflect, as they can only capture external indicators, without penetrating deep meanings, the essence of things. The philosophical plot of the work makes you think about what we really see and what happens only in our imagination.
