Bright red sharp flashes on an abstract green background, fancy broken lines resembling currents of electricity and the complete absence of real objects. It is hard to believe that the artist created this painting being inspired by an ordinary wheat field strewn with bright red poppies. Accidentally seeing this spectacular landscape, Gerardo Dottori went to his studio as quickly as possible and began to paint. According to the artist, he did not know how he would do it and what techniques to use but focused only on his intuition and inspiration. The painting is very close in spirit to the aesthetics of Futurists, although it was inspired not by modern technologies and machines, but by the beauty and energy of nature.
