The surrealist figure placed in a conditional cage can be understood in different ways. In general, the entire large fragment resembles a crouched woman from the back. However, most likely, this is a large bird with slightly raised wings. It sits balancing on a somewhat unstable stand. Brignoni, who worked a lot with wood in the 1930s, took into account, as he said, “the plot proposed by the material itself”. The master carved small sculptures from a single piece and almost always installed them on a low and thin leg-stand.
