Briefly about the painting:

Collages typical of the artist actively engaged in new cultural construction, were made from his own photographs and clippings from newspapers and magazines, accompanied by inscriptions. Encouraging people «to work for life», Rodchenko used clear construction systems justified for such a thematic work as the collage “Technique”. The triumph of cars is proved with the help of a photograph (a cabman and his vehicle of one horsepower) and an inscription taken from an ordinary postcard. It seems to appeal to the addressee and another time, in which the triumph of technology is already turned into reality.
