Briefly about the painting:
The still life, complicated by construction and color harmony, refers to the period when the author moved away from the avant-garde and returned to figurative art. Dense, even material and heavy painting conveys the reality of each recognizable and fantasy flower and plant and the texture of the ceramic jug. In the work, there is decorativeness, previously unusual for the author, that reaches to mannerism; however, the architectonics of the whole composition is impeccable, like the whole color palette.
